Ahh, beautiful photos and photoshop? One fact you have to know about photography is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Photographers do see others' works as better than their own works. If you see someone as a better photographer then obviously someone out there is also thinking that  your shots are better than theirs. Luckily there are ways to generalize the concepts of what makes a beautiful picture and they are summarized into the rules of composition that you can break and obey. Another thing is that Photoshop doesn't make pictures beautiful - rather it improves on what is already beautiful in a picture. You can crop, change colors, use filters, etc but you cannot change in a picture what isn't there unless you are tampering with a photo which is acceptable for art's sake. Using photoshop and similar applications is ok but you have to remember that everything begins with the click of the shutter button. Get it right the first time and follow what John has said about photoshop. Cheers.

Hmmm....sounds like my daughter! lol About the same age I think, and too smart for her own good! lol Anyway, if you have PS or Corel, YouTube has pretty good tutorials, also.

I look forward to seeing more...happy clicking!

Hi Wioleta, they weren't born knowing how to use PhotoShop! lol  I will warn you now that photography is like an addiction, you can get really carried away with spending ridiculous amounts of money on specialty equipment and software!

That being said, many of these software companies have student discounts, or Corel can do almost anything PS can do and is a lot cheaper.

In addition, there are many free tutorial on the web, as well as many knowledge people here on this site...just ask, I am sure they will be willing to share how they did, what they did!

You are most welcome. It has been my simple joy ever since to cherish the visual arts whether it's photography, sculpture, painting, etc. You may say now that you are not that appreciative of your own work but wait a little and you will see how it matters to make people smile by a photo taken by you. That longing to produce the quality that makes people happy in seeing your photos - that is when you will really feel that you are not taking photos for nothing.  Photography has its internal and external rewards and I hope you get to enjoy both. Cheers and Happy hunting.

You are welcome!  We are either are own worst critics, or believe we are the direct decedents of Ansel Adams! lol Hearing it from some one else is always nice, and encourages us to continue!
