Is it a good idea to buy Gray Market Cameras and Lenses? Is the savings worth the less expensive cost?

My opinion is no because both Canon and Nikon won't support them and won't give customer support on them as well.

Is the posting of a watermark on your image in an area really damaging the beauty of the image worth it?
