I'm honoured that you want us to be friends. We have , as you said, much in common, as to our approach subject wise in photography. I just had a look at your portfolio and I must say that it is impressive. As from now, I'll keep an eye on your work.
( I have five cats and I don't take pictures of them , some superstition of mine, as in the past I used to take a lot of pictures of my pets and each time they have met with some misfortune so I keep to that rule.)

Larry Pollock said… Howdy neighbor. We love Santa Fe, at least the last time I was there a number of years ago. I do work over my photos. Ansel Adams said that 50% of the photograph was made in the Dark Room. Of course this is no excuse for not working to get the very best image in the camera. But the art does not stop there. IMHO.

Marilyn Mugridge said… Thank you so much George for your lovely comments on my photo's! No, I'm not a professional, I just take pictures the way I see them! I don't work at a zoo or a preserve, but there's a place a couple of hours away from where I live that protects animals and looks after them. It's a big place with many different and beautiful creatures. They have had much luck with mating as well. The Cougar and the Tiger were about three months old and the baby Bengal was only 5 weeks. We bought the up close and personal private tour which was amazing. And yes, the Pelican's are from Florida :)
