My passion was drawing cartoon illustrations until about a year ago when I decided to buy a camera. Now my passion is photography, mainly photographing landscapes, animals and equestrian subjects. I am now trying my hand at abstract photography which I find interesting, enjoyable and very different.

Derek, I am sorry to inform you that your photo to the "light" competition has been disqualified as it does not conform to the size requirement. You may resubmit, however, please note that the competition ends tomorrow, October 1, 2010 (U.S.) and you must read the photo must not be any larger than 450 on its longest side.
