Profile Information
I grew up in the countryside of Northwest England and spent time roaming and enjoying my surroundings there. This love of the outdoors gave me the desire to travel and see other parts of the world.

During my travels I have appreciated more and more the wonderful wildlife that surrounds us and decided to capture those images. I tend to focus mainly on Birds and Dragonflies, but also enjoy the thrill of capturing any wildlife that crosses my path or any special places that evoke my emotions.

I have a blog at http://findlayfotographics.blogspot.com/2011/05/whats-this-blog-all... which describes the journey of my photography by yearly episodes.
I also have a website at http://findlayfotographics.weebly.com/

"My choice is #3. Lovely lighting and yet the contrast against the black background isn't too harsh. Lovely shot. Well done to the others for some great shots."

"Thanks Anne. I love this shot but as I said on the previous it would have been good to get the whole wing. I love how the flash has made the pale part of its body look more silver in colour. I might use this as a Xmas card image this year :)"

"Thanks Anne. I was trying out a flash technique and the Robin reacted to the flash. If I'd know I wouldn't have been in so tight on the shot and could have got all the wings."
