CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT

At one point in time, you might find that the site no longer suited your needs or other reasons that you might have. 

On the right-side near the top you will see your name and various options like this example here. CLICK on "SETTINGS"

You are now presented with "My Settings" page.

1. Right down the bottom of the page click on "Leave Pixel Induced"

Make sure that you check the "Delete my content" 

Then click "LEAVE"

This will ensure that you leave with none of your content left behind.

NOTE:: If you started a group and have members in the group then the group remains intact. But no one owns or can admin the group unless prior of leaving ensuring that you give admin permission to someone else.  If you decided to return later, it is impossible for you to reclaim the group as there's no possible way at this point in time to allow a group owner who left PI to reclaim the group again.

So before you depart, you might like to return to your group first and assign the group to someone else as admin of the group. This will allow other members to still participate within the group. Or you may like to return to the group first and delete the group totally.
