How to stop EMAIL Notification from discussions?

Why do I get so many emails from PI and how do I stop some of this?

Like any social network, as soon as you participate in discussions, photo uploads, forums or groups, the system automatically emails you when someone responds to the discussion you were interested in or posted.

This way you know who replied or who made a comment on your photos or discussions that you were involved in. But the next time you receive an email, take a look at the email carefully.

You have two options from the email:

When you follow the link provided from option 1, this will only disable the CURRENT discussion you were involved in.

Option 2 allows you to control every email within your profile settings.

Say for instance you were involved in a discussion you are no longer interested in. You can stop the notification by entering the discussion, forum, photo etc by clicking "Stop Following" as illustrated here.
