Control my email notification

Now and then, I get peeps asking how do I stop receiving certain email? Like any social network, when ever you participate in a group, forum, or posting a photo, leaving a comment etc. When someone respond, you will be notified.. otherwise you will never know who commented on your photos, responded to your msg and so on.

But you have a choice to control the email flow. Just remember that if you participate in a discussion, forum, blog, group etc, as soon as you receive an email and no longer interested in that topic, then Click on the do not follow link from the notification email. Note: it will only stop the email coming from that particular discussion, so if you are busily commenting here and there. Be prepare to receive multiple notification or click "Stop Following" from the notification email or within the discussion you were participating.

Another better way of controlling the email flow is within your profile setting's..

Unchecked email notification you don't want but be sure to leave at least "A message from Pixel Induced" from the Pixel Induced Messages for the occasional broadcast email for latest up to date news from PI. Just be careful not to unchecked everything or turn off all email, just imagine you are the winner of one of the competition - we will not be able to contact YOU! ;)
