Guidelines

Weekly Challenge
Welcome to Weekly Challenge, do hope you will join and enjoy this group, and to help us do so I’ve listed a few guide lines to go by.
The winner of the weeks challenge will go on to choose the subject and also the winners of that challenge.
If the winner doesn’t respond within 24hrs, the person who was 2nd will then run the next challenge.
As we live in different time zones, it would be helpful to put up date & the closing time of the challenge, and for us all to be considerate of those in other time zones.
If should some unforeseen event happen while the person running the Weekly Challenge does not get back to choose a winner, then I or someone of my choosing will choose a winner for that week. This will prevent the Challenge grounding to a halt.
Two entries per person are allowed, also Non Entries are welcome [NE’s] Archives are acceptable if you are unable to go out and capture something during that week.
Remember to resize your photos before submitting them to the contest. 800x600 for horizontal 600x800 for vertical. Please download your photos using the small camera icon which is under where the judge for that week has placed the discussion, not in the comments bar.
If you are the winner then go to the Start Discussion bar to post your challenge for the next week.
Please remember that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” so while we may not agree with everyone’s choice of winner, we respect their choice.

Weekly Challenge, how to set it up!

Scroll down to the bottom of the "discussion forum' [above] there you will see "Start Discussion"

click on this...

a window opens and you will see a bar at the top, in here place your 'theme' plus the start date and the finish date and time.

Below that you enter any other details you may wish to add, you may also wish to add a photo of your own as an example.

[check back on some of the others as examples if you like]

Once you have entered all you wish, just click 'add discussion' and it will load up for you.

If once uploaded, you have a problem, or don't like what you have done, you can go into options at the top and click on 'edit' and alter things if you need to, then once again [once satisfied] click 'add discussion'
