That is the same problem only what ever i still have it flashing lol like the picture below it was flashing on that shot weather i use tripod or handheld or placed on a surfaces i get all the depht,detail and focus 90% of the time just now and then i have to reset my setting from start!! i found when using a new lens it stops for a time too this i think is across sony as its the same with my A350 and A550 also thanks for the link will look in to it more  but think it may be a fault if it always reads the wrong settings!!! like they say in the link.

I realy want the A77 and almost there with the savings, just a couple of more months, but it will be the body only and not with their new lens.

Hi tim no now what i was looking for it is puzzling to be honest and have emailed sony but am holding off getting the a77 until i get an answer from them well would be mid year at any rate lol   

Great HDR effect and foreground interest a lovely capture Tim.

Bill great soft lines and disappearing lines but it may be the conture of the land but feels it needs a bit of levelling.

Nice shots Bill and Jamie. I love shots where the road just disappears off in the distance. I am hopefully going to a gig in a weeks time to take pics of a friends band hopefully they will come out ok.
