"No Borders Nor Boundaries" - Where Photographers get together
The rules for this group will be ongoing.
1. Please take the time to thank for someone's help.
2. Involvement is crucial to the success of the group so please try to give some opinions about the photos on here.
3. Be courteous about what you say and try to use some tact. Criticism is a hard thing to take sometimes.
4. Try to give some feedback with your response. If you found it a great image it would be helpful to say why.
5. Please allow 3 days for a review. Sometimes people have busy Lives.
Thanks.
6. Please try to keep your images small and for a size I have 300 pixels by 450 pixels or 100 kb for size or a maximum of 700 pixels by 1050 pixels or 500 kb in size. If you make the image too large some people without Broadband will have difficulty downloading and seeing the image your want reviewed. Also if someone wants to steal your image you will make it easier if your image is too large. Thank you.
7. Please post you images in a discussion and ask what you are looking for. Thank you.

Comment by Sam on November 18, 2011 at 2:56am Hey Guys!!
How you doing, just wondering if I could get some honest opinion on my image? Every one seems to say to my face 'Oh wow!!' but I want to know if thats what they are really thinking!! (Please excuse my Sam Beck Photography bit on it - I just copied it the image from my website!!)

This was taken with a slow shutter speed to capture a wide depth of field. The cat, however, had other ideas. I think the results are better than what I was expecting. The cat looks as if it's a ghost. Let me know if the blur effect looks good or interesting, and if there are any other critiques on the pic.
Comment by Frank Meaney on May 22, 2011 at 9:23am Hello All,
May I dare to make a suggestion that a clear set of points are required to critique correctly. These should be set out clearly before any comment is made.
This group seems to have 2 different areas, people who just want general opinions and help and NOT critique in the true sense.
And those that want to offer critique without the guidelines or criteria required, in my experience True critique needs a fix committee of respected members to work correctly.
Hope this helps, otherwise this could turn into members having to explain all to everyone.

Comment by Guus Quaedvlieg on May 3, 2011 at 10:22pm Hi Tom,
I agree with you. You like a picture or you don't.
It would be more interesting to give comment on technical matter, so you can improve your pictures the next time you take it.
So, I think that the comment, and the photographer does not have to ask for it, should always be a statement to improve your picture technicaly.. p.e. give some examples for settings by a night shot, or give some remarks on the position of the photographer to the sun when it's a bright day, or crop some part of the picture to lead the attention to the main part, and so on...
Comment such as nice, or good shot doesn't have any value. So when you don'have to add anything valueable you better keep quiet...
regards!
