If there is a water drop.. I am having a hard time seeing it... the blackness on the faucet keeps pulling my eyes to it... thus distracting me from seeing the water drip....

THis is a hard one to catch.. you have to sit forever... lol... great job on being patient and catching it... Im not sure what to recommend for the lighting honestly...but I can say its distracting to me as it is... makes a great b&w abstract...

Dont know it any of that helps.... =)

A tough shot to capture, Jamie!  I would try not have so much of the faucet in the photo.  Just enough so the viewer knows what it is.  Think about cropping about half of the white out of the bottom portion of the photo.  I agree with Jess in that the black area of the faucet is distracting.  Maybe more of a difused lighting would help that out.  Also, try moving bit more to the side in an effort to create some separation between the drip and its shadow.  As far as cropping goes, a trick that works for me is to minimize your window a bit.  This allows you to drag the window around, utilize the scroll bars and use the edges of your monitor to see what cropping does to the photo.  Good luck!
