There's supposed to be two model of the D800.. D800 and D800E both at 36.3 MP
Specs looks almost the same but the D800E incorporates an optical low pass filter (OLPF). Price diff is around 300$ est. Interesting..

Yeah, The D800E is suppose to capture sharper images than the D800, but from the reviews and previews I've read the difference is hard to notice.
